OUR
STORY
The Caniglia Family has a long history of bringing classic Italian cuisine to patrons in Omaha, Nebraska.
Beginning in the early 1900s, Giovanna and Cirino Caniglia -- originally from Sicily -- ran the bakery his father began in Omaha's Little Italy neighborhood, and had a daughter and five sons.
The sons (Ross, Al, Lou, Eli & Yano) helped build and operate Caniglia's Pizzaria, which later became a full-service steakhouse called the Original Caniglia's.
Ross Caniglia took over the Original Caniglia's in the early 1970s. His three sons, Ron, Chuck and Bob, operated the restaurant until it closed in 2005.
Building on their successful turn as restaurant owners, Ron, Chuck and Bob wanted to take a popular menu item to the masses: the family's sweet Sicilian dressings.
Available in both regular and lite, Caniglia's Sweet Sicilian dressings are rooted in tradition, using quality ingredients and a cherished family recipe, and made especially for your kitchen.
